How long is the certification valid?
Two years from the date of completion. When it is time to renew, our online CPR renewal page walks you through it.
Is this online CPR certification accepted in California?
For most non-medical purposes, yes: general workplace training, school roles that do not require EMSA approval, and personal preparedness. California EMSA childcare licensing and healthcare BLS require in-person skills testing, which our parent brand A-B-CPR teaches in San Diego.
Will my employer accept an online-only certificate?
Many employers accept it for general workplace preparedness; healthcare, EMS, and licensed childcare typically do not. The honest answer is: ask your employer before you buy, from us or anyone. Our fit-check page lists the common cases.
