Is online CPR certification legitimate?

It can be, when it comes from a real training organization and is used for the right purpose. Online-only certificates work for personal preparedness, caregivers, and employers that accept them. They do not satisfy requirements that call for a hands-on skills check, like healthcare BLS or California EMSA childcare licensing. A-B-CPR Online Training is a company of A-B-CPR, an American Heart Association Training Center since 1998.

Will my employer accept an online-only certificate?

Many general workplaces do; healthcare, EMS, and licensed childcare typically do not. Ask your employer before buying from anyone. Our fit-check page covers the common cases, and if you need a hands-on class we will point you to one.

How fast can I get certified?

Most courses take about 60 to 90 minutes, fully self-paced. Your digital certificate is available to download the moment you pass the final quiz, and it is valid for two years.
